Where will HaruCon take place?

HaruCon takes place at the Messe Klagenfurt.

What is the purpose of HaruCon?

The main goal of the event is to host a convention for anime/manga/gaming/e-sports fans in beautiful Carinthia as well, and possibly shorten the drive to a convention for fans from Italy and Slovenia. HaruCon is an event for fans by fans.

What is the HaruCon?

HaruCon is, among other things, an event for people with an interest in Japanese culture. But not only these should be addressed, but also fans of comics and video games are welcome. The convention offers a very diverse program with competitions in which everyone is very welcome to participate.

As a dealer/artist, can I also sell my goods there?

Yes, you can find all the information under the Dealer/Artist section.

I think it's cool what you guys are doing, I would also like to contribute something to the HaruCon program/event! How can I get in touch with you?

Wir sind immer für neue Ideen offen, du kannst uns gerne über unser Kontaktformular schreiben und wir werden uns deinen Vorschlag ansehen. Wir suchen auch immer wieder freiwillige HelferInnen. Wenn auch du Teil unseres mittlerweile 70-köpfigen Teams werden willst, melde dich bei uns.

What is Bring&Buy?

At Bring&Buy you can sell any merchandise (be it manga, anime, video games, etc) that you no longer like/read or watch to make a little money.

Do I need a Cosplay?

Of course not! Everyone is welcome here, whether in cosplay or in plain clothes.

I am only 16 years old. Can I go to HaruCon alone?

The convention itself has no age restriction. So if you are 16 years old, you are allowed to go there alone.

Is there a dressing room and changing facilities?

Ja, es gibt vor Ort eine Garderobe, bei der ihr eure Jacken und Taschen abgeben könnt.

How does the weapons check work?

Where can I register for contests?

Basically, there is an info point at HaruCon where you can register for various contests and workshops.
Other registration modalities are given in the workshop description here on the homepage.

Are there any chances to get a card on the spot?

Yes, as there will also be a box office.

Is HaruCon barrier-free? 

Most of our location is barrier-free. However, a few stations are built on a grandstand. If you are in a wheelchair, you can get the tickets 50% cheaper. There are enough of our staff on site who will be happy to help you fully experience HaruCon.
